The Manager Compliance Strategy is responsible for providing extensive support and advice in the design, development and implementation of Agriculture Victoria wide compliance management initiatives and give effect to the Agriculture Victoria Regulatory Framework. The role works closely with other managers from across the Regulatory Operations branch to enable a risk based approach to compliance and enforcement.
Reporting to the Program Manager Regulatory Strategy, you will work within a team of other regulatory specialists that have responsibility for the developed of operational regulatory strategies and will provide strategic advise in the management of emerging compliance issues identified by the branches intelligence team.
The position will develop strong working relationships with industry, key stakeholders and other staff across the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA).
As part of an integrated and flexible business model within the Biosecurity Victoria, you will provide support to other programs, and you will actively participate in biosecurity and agricultural emergency responses as required.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
