About us:
Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
Community Work and Partnerships is one of four service delivery streams within CCS. We are responsible for the development of mutually beneficial partnerships with government agencies and non-government organisations so that offenders can undertake unpaid work as part of their community based sentence imposed by the Courts of Victoria.
About your new role:
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Manager leads a team of office and field-based staff and strives to deliver community work placement opportunities ensuring that individualised placements are enhanced and educational opportunities for individuals are maximized.
This role covers the South-East Metropolitan Area. Your primary work location is at Dandenong, however you will be required to work and travel across all offices and sites in the region. The Manager, Community Work and Partnerships must also be available to participate in the after-hours Duty Director roster for the East region.
