About us:
Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
Community Work and Partnerships is one of four service delivery streams within CCS. We are responsible for the development of mutually beneficial partnerships with government agencies and non-government organisations so that offenders can undertake unpaid work as part of their community-based sentence imposed by the Courts of Victoria.
About your new role:
This is a newly created role to support the growing community work operating in Melbourne's North and West metro areas. This role will compliment the team as a second Manager in the region, working predominately to support operations in the north, working out of the new Epping office. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Manager leads a team of office and field-based staff and strives to deliver community work placement opportunities ensuring that individualised placements are enhanced and educational opportunities for individuals are maximized.
This role will be based at a new warehouse in Epping, with travel expected across the North West Metro area as required and management of staff in multiple locations.
