About the role
The Manager, Community Engagement is responsible for the management of Access Services' public facing programs. These include PROV's public reading room services in North Melbourne and Ballarat, copying services, the Koorie Records Unit and publication of our annual Provenance journal.
This role is also responsible for building relationships across a diverse range of communities with a view to increasing knowledge and usage of the PROV collection.
The incumbent will require a wide breadth of knowledge and experience to capture the diversity of the role.
In addition, this team is undergoing change, including changes to reporting relationships and work processes. This role is required to lead and support engaged team members throughout this process.
Our hybrid working model requires attendance in the office at least 2 days per week, which includes one of our anchor days (Tuesday and Thursday). This role is based at our North Melbourne office, however also requires regular attendance at our Ballarat location.
