About the Role
Do you want to work on an important government reform that improves child wellbeing and safety?
An exciting opportunity exists for a high performing policy manager with demonstrated experience in legislative/regulatory issues and a strong understanding of data policy and IT systems to lead a team of policy professionals in a key whole-of-government reform.
This role will give you the opportunity to stretch your skills in policy leadership to support the implementation of the Victorian Government's Child Information Sharing Reform - comprising the Child Information Sharing Scheme and Child Link, working collaboratively with stakeholders across government to effectively support child wellbeing and safety.
In this role, you will be working closely with other teams across the Victorian Child Information Sharing Branch and the broader Department to ensure work is aligned and to create a positive and productive work culture.

The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres
About the Division
The Victorian Child Information Sharing Branch sits within the Child Safety Division, in the Early Childhood Education Group. The Branch leads Victoria's Child Information Sharing Reform to promote child wellbeing and safety. The Branch contributes to implementation and change management activities for the early childhood system reforms, including supporting the roll-out of the Best Start, Best Life Reforms.
