An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the public Administration Group, Cabinet and Governance Branch as Manager, Cabinet Information, Coordination and Correspondence at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Cabinet and Governance Branch provides high-quality, strategic analysis and advice on public sector administration and workforce matters and the institutions of government, including the Office of the Governor, Parliament, Parliamentary Workplace Standards and Integrity Commission, the Victorian Public Sector Commission and the Office of the Chief Parliamentary Counsel.
The role manages a small team with a focus on record management and coordination. The Manager oversees Cabinet in Confidence records management, including managing discovery requests. The Manager is responsible for coordinating DPC's participation in audits led by the Victorian Auditor General's Office (VAGO), and provides advice to the Premier, Ministers and Department executive on VAGO performance reports and the VAGO Annual Plan. The Manager also supports the Premier's correspondence functions.
