THE ROLE
The role of Manager, Assessment is to lead and manage a team of Senior Review and Assessment Officers. The Manager, Assessment is accountable for ensuring consistent output of high quality and timely assessments by their teams.
The position is part of the leadership team in the Operational Management area of the Worker Screening Branch.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
Provide advanced judgement and professional expertise to staff to assist them in the assessment of complex and sensitive cases.
Provide professional supervision of staff, and develop staff potential through coaching and feedback, training, motivating, and mentoring.
Contribute to a team environment and culture that is respectful, embracing of diversity and meets confidentiality and privacy requirements.
Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and record management, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
