DPC’s Justice Branch provides high-quality, strategic analysis and advice on justice policy issues to support the Premier and Cabinet. The Branch shadows the development and delivery of key policies and priority projects, bringing a whole-of-government perspective. About the Role
This role leads a team responsible for Courts and Attorney-General related policies within DPC’s Social Policy Group. The role requires an individual with strong policy skills, written communication, people management, stakeholder management and conceptual and analytical ability.
Reporting to the Director, Justice Branch, you will lead and manage a team, and provide authoritative and expert advice to the Premier, Secretary and senior executives on relevant policies, programs, and issues relating to justice portfolios. You will also be responsible for initiating, leading and contributing to policy analyses and coordination processes to support the implementation of government policy in the portfolio.

A relevant tertiary qualification in criminology, law, social policy or a related discipline is desirable, but not essential.
