THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated people and policy leader to join the Office for Women. As a manager in Office for Women, you have an opportunity to advance your policy skills on a breadth of workstreams and apply your first-class leadership, analytical, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to drive better outcomes for Victorian women and girls.
The role requires a proactive self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strengths in leading complex workstreams and people leading a team. The role also requires high levels of adaptability, resilience and attention to detail, and a commitment to leading a professional and supportive work environment. You will lead a team to deliver policy and programs to support the goals of Our equal state: Victoria's gender equality strategy and action plan 2023-2027. The role has a balance of policy development, program delivery and engagement with government, sector and community stakeholders with a focus on advising on issues related to women's economic security, participation and equity.
You will work closely with the leadership team of Office for Women to contribute to the management and strategic planning for the office. It offers an excellent opportunity to play a significant leadership role in a critical portfolio, and have direct influence on policy and program outcomes.
