THE ROLE
Manager Intake Business Excellence Support within the People, Practice Implementation and Partnerships unit leads work and a team to support the day to day delivery of high-quality Child Protection Intake and After-Hours services.
This role leads the strategic planning and performance reporting function for Business Excellence Support ensuring an evidence base is available to support effective service responses that improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and their families.
With a strong focus on data analytics, reporting and data-based planning; the role develops workforce planning, business systems, processes and quality improvement initiatives that drive optimal child protection practice and service. The manager leads a team that provide dynamic operational and strategic support to these service functions. The Manager works collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimum outcomes for vulnerable clients through improvements to systems, processes and service pathways.
The role also manages and leads:
· a ‘Workflow' team that provides critical support via coordination and allocation of work to Statewide Intake and After Hours teams.
· an administration team that supports the day to day work of Statewide Intake and After Hours.
The position requires a motivated and flexible individual who operates well in a dynamic fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders, often incomplete information and competing priorities and commitments.
