THE ROLE
The Manager, Operations and Capability is responsible for the development and maintenance of programs to drive emergency management capability uplift (people, processes, resources, and systems) and support the 24/7 readiness of the Department of Fairness, Families and Housing to meet its operational responsibilities during emergencies.
The Manager, Operations and Capability is also responsible for leading the development of the department-wide Business Continuity Management System.
This role requires strong leadership and engagement with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the department's emergency management and business continuity arrangements are efficient and effective in meeting government requirements and supporting community outcomes.
