The Warragul Linen Service (WLS) is a business unit of the West Gippsland Healthcare Group and are a leading linen service provider to several public hospitals across Melbourne metropolitan and surrounds. Our laundry plant is situated in the regional town of Warragul, behind the West Gippsland Hospital.
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker / Trades Assistant to join our team in conducting general maintenance duties, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard. The position is based at the Warragul Linen Service production plant. You will be working with industrial equipment including batch washers, ironers and garment folders, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance as required for continual service.
We have an outstanding opportunity available 5 days per week to join our team initially on a fixed term basis, with potential to remain ongoing at the completion of a 12-month period. Approximate shift times Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday12:30pm-9:00pm, Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm and Friday 12:30pm-7:00pm. All shifts may deviate slightly from time-to-time given the nature of the role. Unplanned or reactive maintenance activities may also take place outside the hours specified on occasions for e.g. weekend work on a needs basis or as required.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable with respects to any additional hours outside your roster will be highly regarded.
