Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is seeking a skilled and practical Maintenance Tradesperson to support our Maddocks Gardens aged care facility. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on work, problem‑solving and being part of a team that genuinely contributes to resident comfort, safety and wellbeing.
Contract: Ongoing Full-time, 80 hours per fortnight
Job share can be considered. Please specify your preferred hours in your application.
About the role:
In this role, you'll carry out a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure Maddocks Gardens remains safe, functional and well‑presented. Your work will directly support high‑quality care for residents by keeping buildings, equipment and infrastructure in optimal condition.
You'll manage general repairs, diagnose and resolve faults, coordinate with staff and contractors, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Every day brings variety — from carpentry and minor plumbing to equipment checks, painting, door and lock repairs, and general facilities upkeep.
