About the role
Barwon Health is seeking a highly competent Locum Radiation Oncologist to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-focused care within a leading regional cancer service. Based at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre in Geelong, you will join a dynamic team of staff specialists and advanced trainees, contributing to a culture of clinical excellence aligned with Barwon Health’s values.
This role offers the opportunity to develop site-specific expertise, support the adoption of innovative techniques and technologies, and play a key role in shaping the next generation of radiation oncology professionals through education, training and mentorship. You will also have access to a well-established clinical trials unit and strong academic links with Deakin University, supporting involvement in clinical and translational research.
Barwon Health’s Cancer Services provides a comprehensive, integrated model of care, delivering world-class oncology services to the Geelong and South West Victoria community. The radiotherapy service is one of four public providers in Victoria and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Varian planning systems, three TrueBeam linear accelerators, a dedicated planning CT, and a superficial radiotherapy unit.
