The Literacy & Numeracy Intervention Support person fulfils an important role in supporting the development and growth of literacy and numeracy skills with a targeted group of students who need additional support; through the use and implementation of MacqLit and QuickSmart Numeracy programs.
The Literacy Literacy & Numeracy Intervention Support person will be flexible, competent, and approachable to all members of the school community.¿
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Literacy Literacy & Numeracy Intervention Support person will primarily be to deliver one-to-one or small group literacy & numeracy intervention programs, using MacqLit & QuickSmart Numeracy, for students who are not meeting expected levels, this may occur within the classroom or in an alternative space.
Provide direct support to students:
Build learning partnerships with parents and students
Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
