About the Business Unit:
Integrity Policy and Performance supports the Attorney General in her role as the First Law Officer and Minister responsible for Victoria's justice and integrity system, provides whole-of-Victorian-government policy leadership on integrity and oversight, privacy and information sharing issues, and supports the operation of integrity agencies within the Victorian Government. The Unit facilitates delivery of broader government priorities as required, including reform proposal to address worker harm.
About the Role:
The Legal Policy Officer will assist with the development of reforms and the provision of high-quality evidence-based policy advice on priority legislative reform projects and will work flexibly to support a range of areas that are within the responsibilities of IRLS. Ongoing projects currently led by Integrity Policy and Performance in Integrity, Regulation and Legal Services Division include reform proposals to address worker harm, police oversight and public sector integrity policy spaces as well as supporting the implementation of key recommendations arising from integrity agency reports, inquiries and commissions.
