About the role
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking dedicated Legal Assistants to support our Ringwood office across Crime, Family Law, Family Violence and Civil jurisdictions.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, including clerking at Ringwood and Heidelberg courts, managing reception duties, data entry, answering phone inquiries, and conducting triage and referrals for clients. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of the office while providing excellent service to clients and supporting the legal team.
The Ringwood Office is one of VLA's largest metropolitan offices, providing services to Heidelberg and Ringwood Magistrates Courts, the Mental Health Review Tribunal, and various outreach services. The office is home to approximately 65 staff members and enjoys an excellent workplace culture.
This role is based at our Ringwood office on Wurundjeri Country.
