An exciting opportunity to join a high-performing legal team at the centre of government, which advises on a variety of commercial and regulatory legal matters across the justice system.
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is seeking to fill 2 VPS4 Legal Adviser positions.
The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for providing in-house legal services across the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) and to the Attorney-General, as First Law Officer, and other DJCS portfolio Ministers.
The Commercial & Regulatory team provides legal support to DJCS' operations, programs and enabling functions, including a wide range of investigations, disputes and litigation. The team's work spans procurement, infrastructure, IT, construction, employment and OHS matters, integrity body investigations, inquiries, and FOI litigation and privacy matters.
