The Opportunity:
The Bachelor of Nursing and Diploma of Nursing at Holmesglen Institute are ANMAC-accredited, approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), and lead to eligibility for national registration. Delivered at the Moorabbin campus, the Bachelor of Nursing offers practice-focused learning through simulated laboratories, immersive clinical scenarios, and a world-class simulation facility incorporating virtual reality.
Holmesglen Institute is seeking one full-time Nursing Lecturer to deliver teaching within the Bachelor of Nursing program, with a focus on First Nations culture, health, and wellbeing. This role is intended for a First Nations–identified nursing educator with lived experience, cultural knowledge, and scholarly expertise, or an individual who can demonstrate substantial experience working alongside and supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
The role contributes to teaching that explores the historical, social, and cultural factors shaping First Nations health and wellbeing in Australia.
You will deliver and coordinate subjects within an ANMAC-accredited program, applying culturally informed and evidence-based teaching approaches. Working collaboratively with academic teams, you will contribute to curriculum delivery and development that supports culturally safe, respectful, and contemporary nursing education.
