Assist and support the implementation of educational programs for students in the Disability Inclusion Program
Support the whole student community to uphold and follow School Wide Positive Behaviour expectations
Actively engage with the supervision of students in playgrounds, at camps, on excursions, in sporting activities or other student activities as required by the College
Attend team and staff meetings as required
Participate in ongoing professional development
To perform additional duties as required specific to Cranbourne Secondary College
Assist with the personal care of students such as toileting, meals and manual handling (if required).
Assist students on an individual or group basis with learning tasks in class
Assist with the communication between students and teachers, particularly the interpretation of instructions
Provide basic physical and emotional care for students
Interact with students in a positive and respectful manner, modelling School Wide Positive Behaviour expectations
Maintain confidentiality whilst following DET policies including Child Safe Mandatory Reporting
Provide support for students in all school programs
Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of programs and of students¿ level of participation and achievement
Assist with meals, toileting, lifting, and administration of medication to students requiring special care
Provide supervision of students during recess and lunchtimes, on excursions, camps, at sporting events and other school events as required
Observe students and bring any concerns to the attention of teachers and Inclusion Leader
Participate in team meetings and staff meetings as required
Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with co-workers and wider school community members
Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Principal
