The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

As a Learning and Organisational Development Consultant you will support the design and delivery of both learning and organisational initiatives across the department's corporate staff including managing PDP cycle, LMS, vendor contracts and induction. Our team takes a flexible approach, with members contributing across a wide range of projects and initiatives within the broader team.
Working closely with the team, you will partner with senior consultants and stakeholders to identify organisational and learning needs to build the departments capability and drive continuous improvement. This may include:

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality learning and organisational development initiatives. You will have experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and the ability to manage projects.
The role requires a flexible and proactive self-starter who is comfortable working across a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment and can apply critical thinking to resolve problems and improve processes.

Relevant tertiary qualification Human Resources (Learning and Development / Organisational Development) or Organisational Psychology
