About the Role
We are seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team on a full time, fixed-term basis through to 29 September 2026. This role provides vital support in ensuring operational learning and training priorities are delivered, while also contributing to the implementation of State-wide learning initiatives.
As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs that strengthen the capability of our volunteers and enhance their vital contribution to CFA services. Working closely with the Manager Learning and Development, you will provide advice and support to ensure consistency of practice, while also engaging with Fire and Emergency Management and District Planning Committee Training Sub-Committees to enhance brigade capability and enable brigade viability.
About You
The person we are looking for will have proven experience in a similar role with well-developed written and verbal communication skills to develop reports and to convey training information and objectives to internal and external customers. Ideally you will also bring an understanding of contemporary-based training and development business practices.
Crucial to your success in this role is the requirement of TAE40116 or equivalent and an understanding of the arrangements, standards and environment of an RTO.
You will be highly organised, adaptable and able to prioritise multiple projects within budget, quality and time parameters. Further to this you will be professional, a great team member and excel in your follow up on tasks.
