Disability Inclusion: The Disability Co-ordinator will lead the schoos Disability Inclusion program. This includes organising and leading Disability Inclusion Profile meetings, supporting teachers to identify student learning needs and students who may benefit from a profile meeting. They will support the allocation of Disability Inclusion funding to resource evidence based reasonable adjustments, for individual students and cohorts of students, and they will build teacher capability to implement these adjustments.
The key roles of the Disability Inclusion Co-ordinator may include but are not limited to:
Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
