We are seeking a Lead Safety Advice & Support to provide clear safety guidance, practical support, and expert advice across the organisation. This role works closely with managers and key stakeholders to help ensure health and safety policies and procedures are understood, followed, and applied consistently. The Lead Safety Advice & Support also leads and supports a team of Safety Advisors.
This is a Full Time, permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster Headquarters in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Safety, this role leads the Safety Advice and Support function across Victoria, providing strategic direction, coaching, and operational guidance to a team of Health & Safety Advisors. The position is responsible for strengthening capability across the advisory network, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring consistent, high-quality safety advice aligned to organisational priorities and regulatory requirements.
This role plays a key leadership role in driving continuous improvement of the OHS Management System, including leading preparation for and participation in ISO 45001 surveillance and recertification audits, and partnering closely with key stakeholders, including unions, to achieve positive and sustainable safety outcomes.
