Lead Project Geoscientist x 2
The Role
The Lead Project Geoscientist will join the Storage team, working closely with the Offshore Storage and Regulatory Manager and external geosequestration advisors to assist with the planning and delivery of the CarbonNet Project's geological storage program for greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment permit G-5-AP. This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to contribute their knowledge and experience towards achieving regulatory approvals for CarbonNet's Kookaburra potential GHG storage site.
The Team
The positions of Lead Project Geoscientist form a part of CarbonNet within the Industry, Trade and Investment group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI) Group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. ITI champions Victoria as a destination of choice for trade and international investment, international education and innovation. CarbonNet is jointly funded by the State and Commonwealth governments to investigate the feasibility of commercial scale carbon capture and storage in Gippsland.
