About the Role
The Organisational Development (OD) Lead role is responsible for shaping and implementing strategies that drive organisational effectiveness and culture transformation. This role leads a team of L&OD professionals dedicated to enhancing engagement through initiatives such as but not limited to: employee engagement surveys (PMS), staff recognition programs, and supporting forward-facing career conversations (PDP), Exit Survey, Workforce Strategy and Induction. We are looking for someone who thrives on leading small teams and coaching and developing their people.
Working closely with the team, you will partner with lead / senior consultants and stakeholders to identify organisational and learning needs to build the departments capability and drive continuous improvement. This may include:

The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

The role requires an individual with proven experience in L&OD leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced or complex organisation. Essential to the role is strong leadership and people management skills. Strong project management and stakeholder management skills will also be critical to the role.
The role requires a f lexible and proactive self-starter who is comfortable working across a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment and can apply critical thinking to resolve problems and improve processes.
