About the Role
The South East Region Learning & Development Team schedules, coordinates and delivers operational learning and training priorities across the Region and contributes to state-wide learning initiatives.
The Learning and Development Coordinator ensures RTO compliance and plans and coordinates training that enhances and strengthens volunteer capabilities, supporting their roles in delivering CFA services. The Lead Learning and Development (LLD) collaborates with the Manager Learning and Development to shape the regional learning strategy, ensuring CFA members are skilled to manage emergencies per Victoria's Emergency Management Arrangements.
The South East Region LLD is responsible for managing and leading a team of ten Coordinators and Administrators to implement the regional training delivery plan, ensuring compliance with Australian Skills Quality Authority and Victorian Registration and Quality Authority standards to maintain RTO certification.
The role supports the CFA's Regional L&D strategy and state-wide L&D strategy, overseeing training plans, systems, and team alignment with key initiatives. It provides expert advice, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports contemporary learning models. Key duties include building partnerships, standardising service delivery, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement and transformation. Operational response duties are performed as needed.
