The Role
A Lead Facilitator is required to support the service delivery of the Investment Facilitation team.
In this role you will form part of the Investment Facilitation leadership team, managing and providing leadership to a small team and facilitating priority private sector projects and other complex and often sensitive/high-profile investment proposals across all industry sectors — including negotiating outcomes with senior regulators and agencies and representing the department's interests in various forums.

The Team
The position of Lead Facilitator forms a part of the Investment Services Branch within the Industry, Trade and Investment Group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI) group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. ITI champions Victoria as a destination of choice for trade and international investment, international education and innovation. ITI facilitates new investment and business expansion, supports agencies and regulators to meet approval deadlines for projects of state significance, and supports Victorian businesses to excel in global markets.
The Investment Services function supports Government investment attraction functions by assisting investors with locating in Victoria and navigating land-use, development, environmental and other relevant regulatory approvals required before development or use can commence. Investment Services also provides whole-of-government investment governance and reporting services, including advice on complex transactions, financial risk assessments and supporting the investment committee and advisory board.

Use your stakeholder engagement expertise to identify and manage complex and competing needs and facilitate innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues to achieve the objectives of the branch.
