Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Administrative Law & Legislation team as Lawyer on a full-time fixed term (until 30/06/26) basis. Reporting to the Managing Principal Lawyer, this role assists with the provision of legal advice on all administrative law and legislation matters affecting or involving IBAC.
Set within a small and supportive legal team, this role offers immediate exposure to topical administrative law issues. The work ranges from considering legislative reform proposals and implementation, to advising on best practice government decision making, complex statutory interpretation, information use and disclosure, privacy and much more.

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
