Agriculture Victoria is seeking a motivated and collaborative Laboratory Assistant to join the Laboratory Management Team, part of the broader Science Support Team at AgriBio. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality laboratory support services, enabling our scientists to focus on achieving outstanding research outcomes.
The Laboratory Assistant works closely with colleagues to provide efficient, compliant, and customer-focused laboratory services. Key responsibilities include managing building access, delivering inductions and training, supporting equipment servicing and chemical management, and assisting with a wide range of operational laboratory services.
You will be a proactive team player with strong communication and organisational skills, a commitment to safety and compliance, and the ability to work flexibly across a range of laboratory support functions. A willingness to learn, undertake specialist training, and contribute to continuous improvement is essential.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is AgriBio, Bundoora.
