THE ROLE
The Kinship Engagement worker works to the kinship care model rolled out across Victoria, identifying the needs of children, young people and their carers; stabilising and supporting current kinship care placements with kin and kith families; provide improved and ongoing support to placements through early identification of placement vulnerabilities; act as a point of contact for carer concerns or issues; and support the provision of kinship brokerage funds to support placements and families.
