About the Business Unit:
Hopkins Correctional Centre is a medium security prison located in Western Victoria housing up to 798 people. The prison takes a multi-disciplinary approach that promotes active participation in activities structured to assist with rehabilitation and reintegration back to community at end of sentence.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Team Leader - Stores, the Justice Officer - Stores will provide timely and effective day-to-day operations of the prison stores functions including warehouse, procurement and administrative functions, prisoner shop, fleet and prison archive. This role will ensure electronic and paper-based record keeping systems are up to date and accurate.
This position requires direct prisoner contact and may involve weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the Victorian Public Service Determination.
