About Us
Department of Justice and Community Safety comprises of eight regions, through which compliance, enforcement and regulatory services are provided to the Victorian community.
Located at Castlemaine, Loddon Prison is a 477 bed Medium Security Prison for sentenced male prisoners. Adjacent to Loddon Prison is Middleton, a 236 bed Restricted Minimum Security Prison for sentenced male prisoners. The focus of both prisons is rehabilitation via individual case management, employment, education, training and also the provision of programs and targeted interventions to address offending behaviour and promote the development of prosocial behaviour. Both prisons provide contemporary and quality correctional services that prepare prisoners for transition and reintegration. The third prison is located at Maldon, a minimum risk women's facility; Tarrengower Prison.
What you will do
As justice officer – prison services, you will provide reception, administrative and business support in a prison environment.
You will help deliver accurate, timely and professional services that support daily prison operations.

About you
Experience in a correctional environment is desirable. Advanced computer skills across word processing, spreadsheets, email, appointment scheduling and internet systems are also desirable.
