Demonstrated high level developing experience in FileMaker with a minimum developer certification of 2016 showing previous examples of personalised solutions being built, tested and functioning to meet the custom needs of schools (eg. Student management systems, asset management systems, web based portal development etc).

Demonstrated experience and associated recognised qualifications (eg Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) to manage the schools¿ network across both campuses.

Demonstrated high level competency and understanding of a Palo Alto Firewall environment. Be able to manage a range of movements through the firewall including the Department of Education ¿ Central, Department of Education staff ¿ teachers and education support plus parents and students via a number dedicated remote access portals that require web hosting services to be operational.

Proven ability to enhance the work of a Department of Education¿s Technical School Support Service Program.

Proven ability to show initiative and leadership as part of an effective and cohesive team in a complex work environment to ensure a continuous and efficient operation of the schools ICT infrastructure. This includes demonstrated high level communication skills, along with advanced interpersonal skills that include a capacity to develop constructive relationships with staff and the school community.
Will be someone who is accountable for the development and delivery of key ICT services that are integral to the effective operation of a school. Provides a range of ICT services and undertakes the solving of complex problems that may appear within the ICT policies and systems.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee's position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
