Investigator – Multiple positions (2 year fixed term)
Salary range $92,600 - $105,064 plus statutory super.

If you fit this profile, then you could join the dynamic Investigations Team within the Professional Conduct Branch at VIT with an exciting and challenging mandate to enable quality teaching, and provide for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
The investigator role offers an outstanding career opportunity for a professional who is passionate about using their expertise to support VIT in its regulation of Victorian teachers. With expert knowledge on conducting investigations into professional conduct matters, excellent report writing skills and a strong attention to detail, the role will ensure VIT makes informed decisions about the suitability of teachers to hold registration.

About the role
This role will require you to:
This role will involve exposure to sensitive and objectionable material. Investigators are responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect, and child sexual abuse.
About you
As an experienced investigator, you will have sound and practical knowledge of current government investigative processes. You will have experience in in managing risk associated with disciplinary matters, and ideally a passion for child safety and experience working within the education sector.
You will have strong communication skills combined with a highly organised approach and a proven track record in building productive relationships with stakeholders.
