About Us:
Liquor Control Victoria was established on 1 July 2022 and comprises the Victorian Liquor Commission and staff from the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Liquor Control Victoria is responsible for issuing liquor licenses and overseeing industry compliance and enforcement to ensure that Victorians and visitors to the state enjoy safe and responsible liquor licensed environments.
Liquor Control Victoria supports the independent Victorian Liquor Commission by providing operational and administrative support and by performing various regulatory functions for Victoria's liquor industry under delegation including:

About the Role:
The role of the Investigator is primarily responsible for leading and conducting regulatory investigations for the purpose of prosecution or disciplinary action. The role will also involve conducting inspections and performing enforcement functions. These functions include attendance at venues for compliance inspections, observations at or near relevant premises and conducting risk management discussions. This role will be responsible for recommending appropriate enforcement actions, including commencing a criminal investigation or other enforcement action in accordance with Liquor Control Victoria's policies and procedures.
The role requires the flexibility to work afternoon, evening and weekend shifts and may require some overnight travel to regional Victoria.
