Working within the broader Investigations Unit, the Investigator is responsible for assessing and investigating referrals from a range of internal and external sources. The Investigator is required to identify breaches of relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards to drive and ensure practitioners are adherent with relevant legislation, codes and Australian Standards. The Investigator is responsible for conducting interviews, preparing reports and detailed briefs of evidence, and participating in court and disciplinary hearings. The BPC's Investigations Unit fosters a positive and supportive culture, working collaboratively in a close-knit team to achieve important outcomes for consumers and the industry more broadly.
