About the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
The Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is part of the Surgery, Anaesthetic & Procedural Medicine Division, and is responsible for the provision of services within the specialty to patients across Austin Health.
Emergency and inpatient services are based at Austin Hospital while outpatient services and endoscopy are based at the Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. In addition, a consultative service is provided for other units within the Medical Centre. The Unit maintains a strong commitment to research, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Intestinal Rehabilitation Fellow to join our highly specialised multidisciplinary team in managing complex inpatients and outpatients on home parenteral nutrition. This is a fixed term, part time position working 27 hours per week.
