Communications and Customer Experience leads best-practice communications and engagement to connect DTP with our people, customers, industry partners and communities. We work collaboratively to enrich our customers’ experience of our services, provide the information people need to get around safely and smoothly, and engage with Victorians about how they live and move, now and into the future.
About the role
This is an ONGOING fulltime role. Under the leadership of the Digital Platforms and Content Manager, the Internal Communications Advisor will develop and deliver internal communications plans, leveraging a suite of internal communications channels and systems to ensure key messages and internal campaigns resonate with our people.

This role requires an accomplished communicator who can engage and influence with credibility, delivering clear and compelling messages while confidently handling complex or sensitive topics. Strong digital and technological literacy is essential, including effective use of common digital tools and a broad understanding of emerging technology trends that impact modern organisations.
Success in this position also depends on the ability to partner and co-create with stakeholders, users, and subject matter experts to design, test, and deliver effective solutions within agreed timeframes. The role demands strong stakeholder management, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and comfort working across organisational boundaries. A sound understanding of political and organisational context is required to navigate competing pressures, align with organisational culture, and support informed, timely decision-making.
