About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 31 December 2026
The Intern Engineer will support the project delivery team in the planning, delivery, and monitoring of critical road infrastructure projects across Victoria. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in project planning, design, procurement, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement while learning how transport projects are delivered within government frameworks.
The intern will contribute to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards, while developing professional engineering and project management skills.
Operating under the guidance of the project delivery team, the Intern Engineer will be exposed to all stages of project delivery.
This position offers a developmental opportunity within the Department of Transport and planning, providing hands-on learning in cost, time, quality, and stakeholder management.
