About the role:
Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs, the Integrated Communications Lead manages the Department's response to complex proactive and reactive media issues, identifying and mitigating risk, and managing the Department's reputation in the media.
Working closely with the Director of Public Affairs and the Heads of Media, the Integrated Communications Lead will identify emerging issues and risks through proactive engagement with portfolio areas across the Department and work with them to develop mitigation strategies clearly aligned to the department's strategic narrative and plan. This role will have a dedicated focus on complex and highly sensitive issues and will be required to provide high-level advice to senior executives and Ministerial Offices
