About the Central Sterilizing Services Department
Austin Health Central Sterilizing Services Department (CSSD) is a dynamic and progressive department responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical equipment for Surgery and other areas of Austin Hospital. The CSSD team is skilled, friendly, supportive and dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in the reprocessing of medical equipment.
About the role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Instrument Technician to join our CSSD. As the Instrument Technician, you will deliver a high standard of care to all patients, by ensuring that required items are available when needed, and that processing quality and sterility are assured. This is an ongoing, part time position working 36 hours per week.
