An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Instrument Technician to join our Perioperative Services team in a casual position. Applications are invited for Grade 1 to 4 level. This position offers a great chance to work within a supportive and professional team and contribute to the delivery of safe patient care.
The position:
In this role you will work under supervision to provide sterilisation support to the BRHS theatres by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilising reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment within BRHS. As a collaborative member of the CSSD team, you will work within established procedures to ensure the requirements of the surgical services department are met, and the services provided by other consumers are maintained.

The CSSD is staffed with a small team of instrument technicians and provides full sterilisation support to the Operating Suite and departments throughout the health service, as well as various external clients.
