The Inspector regulates exploration, mining, quarrying and petroleum operations, by conducting inspections and audits, ensuring activities undertaken are compliant with legislation and approvals through education and enforcement. Working with local communities, the Inspector is responsible for ensuring issues, concerns and complaints arising from operator activities are addressed in a timely and transparent manner.
The Inspector carries out the functions of an Inspector as delegated under all acts regulated by Regulatory Operations and requires the highest level of integrity in decision making and interactions with regulated parties.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Morwell with hybrid work arrangements available.
