About the Role
The Inspector will conduct a range compliance monitoring activities and inspections as authorised under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act, and other legislation administered by CAV.
Also, the Inspector will carry out residential tenancy investigations including rental assessments and non-urgent repairs as delegated under the Residential Tenancies Act.
Further the Inspector will perform front line dispute resolution, provide business and community education and participate in CAV campaign initiatives. The Inspector role in the Central Area is based in Preston Northwest Metro Melbourne and will outreach to other locations across metro Melbourne and regional Victoria as required.
