About the role:
An opportunity for two (2) x Injury Management and Rehabilitation Consultants to be part of our Heath, Safety and Wellbeing Division. This position is located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street Docklands.
The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Division provides services to ensure that employees remain healthy and at work to better enhance community safety and be proactive in preventing and responding to avoidable harm. The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Division provides quality, integrated and tailored responses to support injured employees in achieving safe and sustainable recover at work and return to work outcomes.
The Injury Management and Rehabilitation Consultant provides early and ongoing management to support ill and injured employees, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. The position will work closely and collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to drive safe and sustainable recovery at work and return to work outcomes.
As an Injury Management Consultant at Victoria Police, you will be responsible for providing effective and timely coordination of return-to-work planning with a specific focus on early intervention and proactive injury management to support the safe and sustainable return to work of ill and injured workers at Victoria Police.
Reporting to the Injury Management Team Leader you will manage a portfolio of claims, ensuring best practice in claims management and return to work planning.
