About the role
The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for planning, delivering, and governing IT projects across Parks Victoria, ensuring solutions meet business objectives, are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with enterprise standards and IT strategies. This role provides leadership to project teams, manages project risks, coordinates with stakeholders, and ensures effective use of resources and vendor partners.
About the Team
The Information Technology Directorate is Parks Victoria's IT centre of expertise, responsible for delivering technology solutions, services, and support, developing the organisation's enterprise architecture, information management and security capabilities and the oversight of external vendors, ensuring that Parks Victoria's IT capabilities are in line with industry best practice and Victorian Government requirements, and support the effective and efficient management of parks and reserves, including designated local ports and waterways.
We're looking for someone with:
• 7+ years' experience delivering IT projects of varying size and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects in large organisations, including infrastructure, enterprise applications, and digital transformation.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Project Management, or related discipline is highly regarded.
• Certifications such as PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum (CSM, PSM)
