About the Role
As an Information and Education Officer, you will play an important role in delivering engaging education, interpretation, and visitor information services across Parks Victoria's estate. Working under guidance, you will support the design and delivery of programs that help visitors understand, value, and protect Victoria's natural and cultural heritage.
You will assist in delivering a range of public programs, including Junior Ranger and Learning for Nature initiatives, school sessions, and community events. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of interpretive materials such as signage, displays, digital content, and visitor information resources.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, Traditional Owners, volunteers, schools, and community groups, you will help create safe, inclusive, and memorable visitor experiences. You will also support program evaluation through data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.

About the Team
The Operations and Delivery Division leads Parks Victoria's on‑ground operations, including park management, visitor services, community engagement, conservation programs, and infrastructure delivery.
The team works closely with Traditional Owners, partners, and the community to manage Victoria's parks and reserves, ensuring they remain accessible, protected, and enjoyed by current and future generations.
