About the role
The Information and Education Coordinator plays a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating public-facing programs, that promote understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of park's natural and cultural heritage. The position leads the development of interpretive content, educational resources and programs, and engagement strategies, including signs, displays and digital content that connect diverse audiences with Parks Victoria's landscapes, values, and conservation priorities.
The I&E Coordinator works collaboratively with internal teams, schools, volunteers, and external partners to develop and deliver programs that enhance visitor experience, build environmental literacy, and foster long-term community engagement. The role also contributes to strategic planning, reporting, and continuous improvement of education and interpretation services across the organisation.
