The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Industry Officer - Kitchen/Catering to provide a critical role within Custodial Operations Unit
About the Business Unit
Located at Castlemaine, Loddon Prison is a 477 bed Medium Security Prison for sentenced male prisoners. Adjacent to Loddon Prison is Middleton, a 236 bed Restricted Minimum-Security Prison for sentenced male prisoners. The focus of both prisons is rehabilitation via individual case management, employment, education, training and the provision of programs and targeted interventions to address offending behaviour and promote the development of prosocial behaviour. Both prisons provide contemporary and quality correctional services that prepare prisoners for transition and reintegration.
About the Role
As an Industry Officer - Kitchen, you will train and supervise people working in prison kitchens. You will support safe, high quality food operations and help meet daily targets and prepare people for jobs after release.

You should have relevant kitchen, food processing or catering experience, ideally supported with qualifications.
